Who we are

Enji Media builds websites and runs advertising and search work for businesses. This policy covers enjimedia.com and any enquiry you send us through it. You can reach us any time at nathan@enjimedia.com or on (810) 300-5891.

If you are already a client, work we do inside your own accounts and platforms is covered by the agreement we have with you, not by this page.

What you give us

The contact form on this site asks for a few things, and it is the only place we collect information from you directly:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address, if you choose to add one
  • Which service you are asking about
  • Anything you type into the notes field

Whatever you put in the notes field is up to you, so please keep it to what is needed. Do not send passwords, card numbers, or anything else sensitive through a web form or by email.

If you email or text us instead, we hold whatever you send in that message for the same reasons and for the same length of time.

What is collected automatically

Like most websites, some information is recorded whenever a page loads. This is not tied to your name unless you have also sent us an enquiry.

  • Your IP address and rough location, usually no more specific than a city
  • The browser and device you are using
  • Which pages you looked at, in what order, and how long you stayed
  • The site or ad that sent you here, if there was one

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is being used, which pages people actually read, and where visitors come from. We also use the Meta pixel, which tells us when a visit came from a Facebook or Instagram ad and lets us show ads to people who have been here before.

Both of these set cookies in your browser and share information with Google and Meta, who handle it under their own privacy policies. We see the reports these tools produce. We do not see your name, your address, or anything else that identifies you personally through them.

You can stop most of this if you want to. Browsers let you block or clear cookies, Google publishes an opt out add on for Analytics, and Meta lets you change what you see under your own ad preferences.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and answer what you asked
  • To quote work, and to carry it out if you go ahead
  • To keep in touch about work that is already underway
  • To see which pages and which ads are actually bringing people in
  • To show our ads to people who have visited this site
  • To keep records where we are required to, and to deal with any dispute

We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the contact form. If we ever start sending anything you did not ask for, there will be a way to stop it in every message.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade or rent it to anybody. It is shared only in these situations:

  • With the companies that run the tools we use, such as website hosting, email delivery, and the analytics and advertising platforms described above. They only handle what they need to in order to do that job.
  • With anyone you have told us to deal with on your behalf.
  • Where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for around two years, because people often come back later, then deleted. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as we are working together and for a period afterwards for tax and accounting purposes.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner than that, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Email nathan@enjimedia.com and you can ask us to do any of the following. We will get back to you within a reasonable time, and there is no charge for it.

  • Tell you what we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it
  • Stop contacting you

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your own state or country's privacy laws. If you have one of those and want to use it, tell us which and we will deal with it.

Keeping it secure

We keep what you send us on reputable services, limit who can see it to the people doing the work, and do not hold on to things we no longer need. No website or email system is completely secure though, and we cannot promise otherwise.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

If this changes, the new version goes up on this page and the date at the top changes with it. Looking at that date is the quickest way to tell whether anything has moved since you last read it.
