Lead generation

How detailers fill the bays with coating jobs.

We help mobile and shop detailers book full interiors and ceramic coatings off Facebook and Instagram, usually starting inside the first two weeks, without discounting and without chasing quotes.

Right now the gaps are eating your week

Two hours between jobs is time you are paying for and cannot sell. A day with a hole in the middle pays like a half day, and nobody is coming to fill it unless you go and get them.

An empty bay costs the same as a full one
Rent, insurance, product and your own time are fixed. One extra coating a week is the difference between a good month and a month you had to think about.
Nobody searches for a service they forgot exists
A filthy interior is something people live with until they see what clean looks like. That is a scrolling problem, not a searching one, which is why detailing does so well on a platform built around pictures.
Competing on price is a race you lose slowly
There is always somebody with a pressure washer and no overhead who will do it for less. The only way out is to sell a result people can see, at a price that reflects it.

What detailers tell us, and what we do about it

Five things we hear on nearly every first call with a detailing business.

People only want the cheap wash package.
An ad that says detailing attracts price shoppers. An ad for a ceramic coating or a full interior attracts somebody who already knows it costs real money. We lead with the package, so the price conversation is over before they message you.
I get quotes, not bookings.
A quote is a conversation you have to chase. The ad sends people to a real time slot instead, so they pick a day rather than asking what you charge and disappearing.
Half my day goes on driving.
For mobile we set the radius at the point a job stops being worth the travel, not at the widest area you would theoretically go. Tight routes are the difference between four jobs and two.
The car turns up worse than they described.
The form asks vehicle size and condition before you quote. A three row with a dog in the history gets priced as what it is, in writing, before you are standing in their driveway.
Customers detail once and I never hear from them again.
A full detail is a once or twice a year purchase people forget about. We run ads to the people who already bought, timed to when the reminder is useful, which is the cheapest work in the account.

How it works

One call and three photos. That is your side of it.

  1. A car being blown dry in a detailing bay.

We pick the package the ad sells

Ceramic coating, full interior, or a pre-sale clean up. One or two, not a menu. Somebody scrolling has to picture their own car and know roughly what they are agreeing to in about two seconds.

  2. A gloved hand vacuuming dirt out of a car's carpet.

You send us three before and afters

Same angle, same spot, before you start and after you finish, on your phone. Interiors work best because the difference is obvious. That is the only thing we need from you.

  3. A detailer running a polisher across the hood of a white car.

It runs and the bays fill

Ads go out to the radius that suits how you work. Leads arrive, get a text back with a booking link, and put themselves into a slot rather than asking for a price and going quiet.

  4. A laptop on a desk showing a campaign performance dashboard.

We cut what does not book cars

Packages and areas that produce inquiries but no appointments come out. Your cost per booked car should drop as the account ages.

What you get every month

Creative included from day one. You will not get a separate quote for it once you have said yes.

  • Campaigns built around a package people can picture, not the word detailing
  • Targeting set for how you work, mobile radius or drive-to-the-shop
  • Before and after creative made from cars you actually did
  • A form that asks vehicle size and condition before you quote
  • Instant text follow-up with a booking link into your calendar
  • Repeat campaigns to past customers, timed to when they need you again
  • Ongoing testing, with packages and areas that do not book switched off

Before you ask

Want the people already searching? Google Ads for detailers covers that side.

  • Detailing leans toward Meta more than most trades, because the work is visual and the need is rarely urgent. Hardly anybody wakes up searching for a ceramic coating, but plenty of people will stop scrolling on a before and after of an interior that looked like theirs. Google still earns its place on the searches that do happen, such as car detailing near me or ceramic coating in your town, and those convert quickly because the person is already decided. If you can only run one to start, Meta usually produces more for a detailer. Adding Google afterwards catches the people who went looking because they saw you.

  • Both, with different setups. Mobile campaigns are built around a drive radius with the travel time priced into what a job needs to be worth, and the ads say that you come to them, which is the actual selling point. A shop is targeted tighter and the ad has to give somebody a reason to leave their car for a day. The mistake is running the same campaign for both, which produces mobile inquiries too far away to be profitable and shop inquiries from people who expected you to turn up.

  • You will after a week of taking them, and this is the one thing most worth doing for a detailer. Same angle, same spot, before you start and after you finish, on your phone. Interiors photograph better than exteriors because the difference is more obvious. We would rather build ads from a slightly rough photo of a car you actually cleaned than a polished stock image of a car you did not.

  • Yes, and for detailing that is often the cheapest work in the account. A full detail is not a one-time purchase for most people, it is something they do once or twice a year and then forget about until something reminds them. Ads can go to the people who already bought, at the point the reminder is useful, which costs far less than finding somebody new.

  • Two things. The targeting radius stops at the point a job stops being worth the travel, rather than wherever the platform would like to spend. And the form asks for vehicle size and condition up front, so a van that has not been cleaned in three years is not quoted as a sedan. That changes the quality of what reaches you more than any change to the ads themselves.

  • The leads are yours and come straight to you. The ad account is whichever is easier: we set one up and give you full access from day one, or we work inside yours if you already have one. The work is month to month and your ad budget is paid straight to Meta.
