How roofers get the leak call instead of the competition.
We help residential roofers win the searches homeowners make when water is already coming through, live within days, without funding every job seeker and DIY video watcher in the county.

Right now those calls go to the first listing
A homeowner with a ceiling stain is not comparing five companies over two weeks. They call one of the first names they see and book. Showing up there is worth more than any amount of brand awareness, and you either are or you are not.
- A missed leak call is a full roof you never quoted
- Repairs turn into replacements more often than not. The call you did not get was not a small job, it was the start of one of the biggest tickets you sell.
- Roofing clicks are expensive, so waste compounds fast
- This is one of the priciest categories in Google. Without a negative list, job seekers and DIY searches burn through a budget at full price and book nothing.
- Your storm window is short and everyone is in it
- The three weeks after weather moves through are the most competitive and the most expensive of the year. Going in without tracking is paying peak prices blind.

What roofers tell us, and what we do about it
Five things we hear on nearly every first call with a roofing company.
- After a storm every roofer in the county is bidding against me.
- That is exactly when the negative list and the geography earn their keep. While competitors pay for the whole county and every job seeker in it, your budget goes only to leak searches inside the zips you cover.
- I am paying for people searching roofing jobs.
- Hiring, salary, apprenticeship and career all get blocked before launch. Roofing needs a longer negative list than almost any trade, and it gets added to every month as new terms show up.
- My best leads come in and nothing records where from.
- Tracking goes on first, across calls and form submits both. Otherwise the keyword quietly booking your inspections looks identical to the one burning money, and sooner or later somebody switches off the wrong one.
- I keep getting price shoppers who want a number over the phone.
- Emergency repair and replacement cost are different searches from different people. We split them, send each to a page that matches, and bid for the one that books today.
- I do not know if Google Guaranteed is worth the hassle.
- For roofing it usually is. You pay per lead rather than per click and sit above everything else. The screening and background check are a real hurdle, which is the point: it keeps the list short.
How it works
One call from you. Two stages happen before any money is spent.

We split the searches by urgency
Roof leak repair is a different customer from roof replacement cost. One wants somebody today and will pay for it, the other is researching and will take three weeks. Lumping them together is why a lot of roofing accounts underperform.

We build the negative list first
Before a single ad runs. Job seekers, DIY searches, people pricing shingles by the bundle, and anybody outside your counties. Each of those costs exactly what a homeowner with a leak costs.

We track every lead, not just the calls
A homeowner with water coming through taps the number. One planning a replacement next spring fills in the form instead. Both are worth having and most roofing accounts only count the first, which is how the keyword booking your quotes ends up looking like the one producing nothing. Calls and forms both get tracked before launch.

We cut the keywords that do not book
Monthly. Terms producing inspections get more budget, the rest come out. Your cost per booked inspection should fall as the account ages.
The work so far
Local businesses, real budgets, and what has come out the other side.
- $100k+
- Revenue generated for the businesses we run ads for
- 10+
- Service businesses served, mostly local trades
- 100%
- Satisfaction rate. Nobody has left unhappy yet
What you get every month
Local Services and search ads are both in scope here. We do not quote them as two separate projects.
- Keyword research split by urgency: emergency repair, replacement, inspection
- A negative list that blocks job seekers, DIY searches and material shopping
- Geographic targeting down to the counties and zip codes you actually drive
- Local Services Ads setup and Google Guaranteed screening where you qualify
- Lead tracking on calls and form submits, so each one traces back to its search
- Your Google Business Profile reviewed, since the map pack sits beside your ad
- Instant text follow-up and booking for the leads that arrive as forms
- Ongoing pruning, with keywords producing no booked inspections switched off

Before you ask
Want to reach homeowners before the leak? Meta Ads for roofers covers the other half.
Google is where the urgent money is. Somebody with water coming through a ceiling types roof leak repair and calls one of the first names they see, and no other channel reaches that person at that moment. The limit is volume: only so many roofs leak in your area in a given week, and after a storm every roofer in the county is bidding on those same searches at once. Meta reaches the much larger group whose roof is simply old, before they have thought about it, which is what keeps the calendar full between storms. Most roofers who run both use Google for the emergencies and Meta to work the neighborhoods around them.
Usually yes, where they are available. They sit above the regular search ads, carry the Google Guaranteed badge, and charge you per lead rather than per click, which removes the cost of people who click and never call. The trade is that you pass Google's screening and background check first, and you control much less about targeting and messaging than you do in a normal search campaign. Most roofers are best running both: Local Services for the top of the page, search ads for everything that format cannot reach.
Local Services Ads are pay per lead, appear above everything else, and show the Google Guaranteed badge, but Google decides most of the targeting. Regular search ads are pay per click, appear below, and let you control the keywords, the ad copy and the page the homeowner lands on. Local Services tends to win on cost per lead for straightforward jobs. Search wins when you need to say something specific, such as a particular roof type or a financing offer.
Very much, and it is free. For roofing searches the map results usually appear right alongside your paid listing, so a homeowner comparing you against two other roofers is looking at review counts and photos before they decide who to call. A neglected profile loses you work your ad already paid to reach. We check it as part of the setup rather than treating it as a separate project.
Negative keywords, and roofing needs a longer list than most trades. Hiring, salary, apprenticeship, career and jobs all get blocked, along with DIY phrasing and material searches. It is not a one-off task either, because the actual searches reaching your ads shift as the account spends, so the list gets added to every month.
Roofing is one of the more expensive categories in Google, because the job value is high and the competition knows it. The number varies a lot by area, so quoting one here would be invented. What matters is whether the cost of a booked inspection sits comfortably under what a roof is worth to you, and we check that in your market before taking the work.
The leads are yours and come straight to you. The ad account can sit with us or with you, whichever is less hassle, and you have full access either way. The work is month to month, and your ad budget goes to Google directly with our fee kept separate from it.
